The design proposal for the new unit was creating a modern, welcoming and comfortable space. Choosing materials that were easy to clean was also a priority. And due to the low immunity of some patients having products that contained built in anti-microbials would also be of benefit.

Interface carpet tile supplied by INZIDE Commercial in NZ is a perfect fit for purpose flooring for healthcare. A life-time anti-microbial “inter-sept” is built into the tile. The tile is easy to clean given its yarn is solution dyed nylon. And Interface has a myriad of designs and colours to meet the most discerning tastes.

The neutral colours chosen for the reception floors matched with the texture of the walls and desk, creating a delightful welcome to all clients.

For the corridors, a mix of grey and green hues brought harmony and movement to the space, using texture in a creative way.
