We’re excited to welcome Markus Kirchhof as the newest member of our team, joining us as a Trade and Technical Account Manager.
With a strong background in wholesale and operations, Markus brings a wealth of expertise and a keen ability to tackle challenges head on. His commitment to excellent service and problem solving makes him a fantastic addition to our team.
Born near Berlin, Germany, Markus studied biology, geography, educational science, and psychology with the aim of teaching students in Germany. After completing his studies, he transitioned into the wholesale industry, joining a pharmaceutical distributor where he gained experience in operations, sales, and promotional team strategy.
After moving to New Zealand, unexpectedly thanks to COVID-19! Markus explored the landscaping industry before returning to wholesale, most recently serving as a Site Manager. What began as an unexpected stay quickly turned into a deep appreciation for the beauty and lifestyle New Zealand offers, and Markus decided to make Aotearoa his home for him and his family. No matter the industry, Markus has always been the go to person for making things run smoothly, solving issues, and supporting both customers and colleagues alike.
Outside of work, Markus loves the outdoors, walking, cycling, swimming, and exploring New Zealand’s stunning landscapes with his two children. Whether it’s tackling a bush track or enjoying the beaches of the Hauraki Gulf, adventure is always on the agenda.
