INZIDE Commercial is extremely proud of our ability (in collaboration with Interface Inc.) to complete closed loop recycling system. We are not aware of any other carpet supplier in New Zealand who is actively retrieving carpet tile and having it recycled back into new carpet tile.
Any PVC backed competitive nylon carpet tile will be recycled by INZIDE when supplying Interface carpet tile to replace it.
Any Interface carpet tile will be recycled by Interface irrespective of the carpet tile replacing it.
The process is simple.
The installer/demo team needs to place the carpet tile onto pallets (see separate recycling instructions on our website) and shrinkwrap them. When they are received at one of our three depots (Owens Transport – Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch) INZIDE Commercial will then organize to have them transported to the InterfaceFLOR recycling facility in Atlanta where they will be remade into new carpet tile.
