Interface and INZIDE Commercial are thrilled to announce that David Oakey will be presenting for one day only on Thursday 17th November. Two events are planned: One at Unitec in Mt Albert at 9.30am and the other in Auckland City at 5.00pm. Numbers are limited to 100 for the morning session and 100 for the evening session. So be quick to reserve your space.
In David’s words, “We are students of nature’s design principles and of nature herself. We create our textile designs from the endlessly-renewable, continually-inspiring natural world. This practice, called bio-mimicry, finds solutions to design, manufacturing, and business problems in partnership with nature”. David Oakey is a passionate advocate for how businesses, designers, and educators can – and, in his view, must – learn from nature. Under his leadership, David Oakey Designs’ success proves that business can be sustainable and successful.
