The Pharmacy's owners had to blend the Amcal corporate colours with the functionality aspects of main street foot traffic into their flooring solution.

Further they needed to differentiate between corridors and product display areas.

The solution by Lloyd Sinton was to use InterfaceNZ's I2 random patterned Modernism with its subtle pattern to keep the focus on the product displays while still incorporating the Amcal colours.

Then to mark out the corridor areas Samara Terrace was used. It's dark colourway with stong design is great for foot traffic and is a real feature of the décor.

Given InterfaceNZ only uses Solution dyed 6,6 nylon throughout their range they can easily meet the high foot traffic demands of a main street store, ensure spills do not become stains and provide a 15 year walk on life on each tile.

With the added benefit of intersept antimicrobials built into the tile for the life time of the carpet, those nasty ice-cream spills can be quickly cleaned up with hot water (never use shampoo) and any residue will not harbour bacterial growth.

The result speaks for itself -a fantastic flooring solution for Franklins Amcal pharmacy incorporating high design and full functionality that will last a full 15 years and provide easy cleaning and maintenance throughout its life time.
