Westpac New Zealand's new national headquarters is both a Heritage building and NZGBC Design & New build rated. It is also the first stage of Westpac New Zealands flagship head office being built by Cooper & Company (formerly Bluewater) on the Britomart site as part of the Britomart restoration project now 10 years in the making.
Jasmax needed to ensure that only the most sustainable products were used and so Interface was top of mind for flooring. Not only ECNZ verified but also carboNZero certified, climate neutral on carpet tile, and the only flooring supplier actively selling post-consumer recycled product and then taking back that same product for further recycling. True cradle to cradle product stewardship.
Westpac wanted a great looking interior at an affordable price. And again Interface was top of mind with true 15 year warranties, a company in NZ that stands behind those warranties and is proactive in its support. And pricing, simply Interface will not be beaten on price when matched with comparable product. Solution dyed, nylon 6.6 carpet tile. The best performing commercial soft flooring product on the market. There are many cheaper imitations but they don't have the technology in the tile, nor the 15 year guarantees.
