Environment Bay of Plenty had strict criteria for their flooring:
Due to InterfaceNZ’s leadership in the sustainability field and high satisfaction ratings from many Local Governments across New Zealand, they called InterfaceNZ directly.
The solution? A random designed carpet tile (less than 1% laying wastage) with maximum facility management flexibility – no dye lots or patterns to match up against – minimum installation disruption - with a blue colour palette to match the BOP coastal region.
Entropy combines a 100% solution dyed nylon yarn with up to 50% recycled content (does not fade in the sun, 15 year performance guarantee), with a recycled and recyclable PVC backing and carbon neutralization through Meridian Energy’s Te Apiti Wind farm.
And the result – simply awesome. An extremely satisfied customer who will be continuing with a progressive refurbishment of the rest of the building, aesthetically pleasing and more importantly, satisfies their requirement for a neutralized environmental impact.
