The Ministry of Justice has specific needs for its Courts. Large District courts catering for all sorts of issues, from Family Courts through to High Courts and a myriad tribunal and hearing rooms in between.

In this case Dannievirke is a smaller country court that looks after the needs of the surrounding area. Its décor dates to the 70's with caramel coloured glass and lots of wood. Finding the right carpet fit, though challenging, was relatively pain-free, due to Interface's vast range of product to call on. Concurrently, the Dannievirke court manager was keen to have a design element that also aided with way-finding, in particular leading people to either the probation manager or the main reception that was through a set of doors, and delineating public areas from judicial areas.

The result speaks for itself. Random patterned tile (to aid with maintenance and cleaning) leading on to sophisticated luxurious Syncopation carpet tile in the judicial areas. Once again, Interface working in partnership with their client to create the right answer.
