The grand Piano though a sculpture in art itself is also particularly heavy and requires special flooring to take the rolling load.
Furrows Rye was chosen due to its sophisticated and well-mannered pattern that was atheistically pleasing to the musical quadrant of the brain.
Its tufted pile provided greater sound dampening effects while allowing the music to be clearly heard within the auditorium.
Another fantastic result, reflective of the music department’s culture and musical requirements.
