The Albany Campus' new Library building was officially opened by Prime Minister John Key on 7th May 2010.
The library was a new extension to the existing building and was constructed to cater for growing student numbers and to provide state-of-the-art Library facilities and technologies.
Massey and Opus were keen to provide an environment that was both stimulating yet encouraged a strong learning ethos. With this requirement they focused on the 1968 collection from Interface. A retro inspired product range with a both Bright & Bold and Subtle yet sophisticated colour palette.
Various patterns in the same subtle colour way were chosen. The result – fantastic – it certainly provides that excitement in the floor plate in a subdued way.
Add in the 20 year warranties for an education facility, the anti-microbial for the life-time of the carpet and the service and support from the #1 carpet tile player in the New Zealand market and you have a flooring solution that is very fit for purpose.
